Uncanny 395

So, anybody have any additional thoughts on Kurt's role in the recent uncanny? (let's forget that we've already done this at the NC thread at wiz...)

Anyway, I quite liked it. I was expecting to not like it at all, and I was pleasantly surprised. The art was very nice, Churchill has improved a great deal. The dialog was witty and realistic. My only quibble is that Mr. Clean didn't impress me very much. I hope some of those poor underground mutants survived. They were a sympathetic bunch.

Most shocking of all....I....I liked priest Kurt.....He finally has a personality again and her really had his stuff together. Very cool.

Folks, I think it's official, Casey is our hero.

I liked it too. It shows a lot of promise.

The impression I get thought, is that Casey and Churchill are trying hard to show they have properly studied their character's backgrounds. (Pointy teeth. See? Look here! We didn't forget the pointy teeth! Oh look, it's the little-used wallcrawl! And now, the dissapear in shadows act! Hey look here! Aren't these teeth pointy?) It seems a little forced at times, but at least they seem to know their stuff. Makes you wonder if they read The Thread!

I think they very well may have. Or as Millar charmingly put it: "Anyone in this business who says they don?t check the boards every day is a goat-fucking liar!"

Not that it doesn't please me to think this creative team, reads our thread, but I can't forget the way Morrison and Casey pretty mych told fans that what we said didn't matter to them and to take a flying leap if we didn't like what they wrote. But then maybe they are goat fucking liars like Millar said. If Casey has read our thread, he would surely know how unpopular this instant overnight priest gig is.

And Iceman and Chamber were cool as well.I liked the banter between Kurt and Bobby.I cant wait to see how Kurt and Jono interact next issue.I agree with Spatch,Mr.Clean was a little lame and I like the british"Morlocks" and I also hope some of them survive.

I cant wait until next issue!I hope its on time....
